CT imaging is a specialized diagnostic examination to view cross-section
images of the body. The CT scan offers patients shorter scan time and
less radiation exposure and are especially important in detecting early
abnormalities in the body. CT scans involve few health risks, outweighed
by the many benefits.
We encourage you to research further detailed information at
www.radiologyinfo.org regarding CT scans.
CTA imaging is another specialized diagnostic examination utilizing an injection of contrast material to produce detailed images of the blood vessels and tissues in the body.
