This prenatal first trimester screening test, also known as nuchal translucency screening, uses ultrasound to measure the tissue thickness at the back of your developing baby's neck. This measurement can help assess your baby's risk for Down Syndrome (DS) and other chromosomal abnormalities when performed during the first trimester of your pregnancy. Unlike diagnostic tests, it's painless and involves no risk to you or your baby.

The GFE is based on information known at the time of scheduling. Uninsured and self-pay patients will automatically receive a GFE via text or email when they schedule an appointment at our center. Uninsured and self-pay patients may also request a GFE prior to scheduling. Click this button for more detailed information on GFE.
